Privacy Policy.

The short version.

MonkePanel runs locally on your PC. Your Steam credentials, your .maFile Steam Guard files, and your panel logs stay on your machine. We do not upload them. We do not have a copy of them. We cannot see what is in them.

What we do collect is the bare minimum needed to license the software, deliver updates, and tell what is broken.

What we collect.

From the website (monkepanel.com)

• Standard server access logs (IP address, user agent, referrer, request path, timestamp) for reliability and abuse prevention. Retained ~90 days.
• Browser language preference (used to pick the right localisation, stored client-side).

From the application

• Your licence key and a coarse machine identifier (a hash, not your raw hardware IDs) so we can match a single licence to a single host.
• Version number of the panel you are running.
• Anonymous crash reports if the panel crashes. These are minimised: stack trace, build version, OS version. No filenames containing personal data, no Steam logins, no maFile contents.

From Telegram interactions (if you opt in)

• Your Telegram chat ID, which you give us when you bind the panel to your bot. Used only to send you notifications you asked for.

What we do NOT collect.

• Steam usernames or passwords.
• Steam Guard mobile authenticator (.maFile) contents or device secrets.
• Keystrokes, screen contents, microphone, camera, or anything outside the panel's own UI.

How we use what we collect.

• To validate that your licence is active.
• To deliver updates and notify you when a new build is available.
• To find and fix bugs (crash reports).
• To talk to you when you ask us to (Telegram chat ID).
• To keep the website online and unabused (server logs).

We do not sell your data. We do not run ad targeting. We do not share with marketing partners.

Third parties we rely on.

• Telegram handles the bot and channel. If you bind the panel to a Telegram chat, Telegram of course sees those messages because they are going through their infrastructure.

Cookies.

The website uses one purpose: remembering your language preference (stored client-side, not on our server). No advertising cookies, no third-party analytics that follow you across sites. We may add privacy-respecting first-party analytics later (page views, no fingerprinting). If we do, we will update this page first.

Your rights.

You can ask us to:

• Show you what data we have linked to your licence key or Telegram chat ID.
• Delete it. (Deleting an active licence key means we cannot validate it any more, so your panel will stop working.)
• Correct anything that is wrong.

Send the request to @monkecs on Telegram from the account associated with your licence.

Children.

MonkePanel is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you think a minor has registered, contact us and we will remove the data.

Security.

We take reasonable measures (encrypted transport, hardened infrastructure, principle of least privilege on our side). We cannot guarantee perfect security and no service can. If we find a breach affecting your data we will notify the Telegram channel and any directly affected users.

Changes.

We can update this policy. The "Last updated" date reflects the current version. Material changes will be announced on the Telegram channel.
